Gold prices in Kerala witnessed a sharp rise on today, with the rate of 916 hallmark gold increasing by ₹270 per gram. According to market rates, 916 gold is now priced at ₹13,620 per gram, while the price for eight grams has reached ₹1,08,960.
The rate of 18-carat gold stands at ₹11,250 per gram and ₹90,000 for eight grams. Meanwhile, silver is being sold at ₹260 per gram, with the price of eight grams fixed at ₹2,080.
The latest increase in gold prices comes amid continued fluctuations in the precious metals market, adding to concerns for jewellery buyers and investors across the state.
