Gold prices in Kerala remained unchanged on Thursday. The price of 22-carat gold stands at ₹13,850 per gram, while one sovereign (8 grams) is priced at ₹1,10,800.
For 18-carat gold, the rate is ₹11,445 per gram and ₹91,560 per sovereign. Silver prices also remained largely stable. One gram of silver is priced at ₹265, while eight grams cost ₹2,120.
Market analysts attribute the recent fluctuations in gold prices to volatility in global markets and a cautious approach adopted by investors. Traders expect further movements in gold rates in the coming days, depending on trends in the international bullion market.
