
Gold prices declined in Kerala on Tuesday, bringing slight relief to buyers after recent fluctuations in the bullion market.
According to the latest market updates, the price of 22-carat gold dropped by ₹45 per gram. The rate of one gram of 916 hallmark gold now stands at ₹14,565, while the price of eight grams (one sovereign) has fallen to ₹1,16,520.
The price of 18-carat gold is currently ₹12,035 per gram, with eight grams priced at ₹96,280.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged in the state. One gram of silver is priced at ₹285, while eight grams cost ₹2,280.
Jewellery traders said global market movements and fluctuations in international demand continue to influence domestic gold prices.
