KOCHI: Gold prices increased by ₹55 per gram on Friday, pushing the rate of 916 hallmark gold to ₹13,285 per gram. The price of eight grams (one sovereign) has risen to ₹1,06,280.
The price of 18-carat gold also stands at ₹10,915 per gram, with eight grams priced at ₹87,320.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged, with the metal trading at ₹240 per gram and ₹1,920 for eight grams.
