New Delhi/Ludhiana: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday carried out searches at premises linked to Punjab Industries Minister Sanjeev Arora and several others as part of an ongoing investigation, officials said.
The raids were conducted at Arora’s residential and official locations, as well as premises linked to his son Kavya Arora, associated with a company named Hampton Sky Realty Ltd. Searches were also carried out at locations connected to Hemant Sood of Findoc Finvest in Ludhiana and an alleged bookie, Chandrasekhar Aggarwal, in Jalandhar.
ED teams were accompanied by personnel from a central paramilitary force to ensure security during the operation. Further details regarding the case are awaited.
