- Traffic was restricted on Kartavyapath from Vijay Chowk to India Gate starting at 6 PM.
- Cross traffic at Rafi Marg, Janpath, and Man Singh Road was halted from 11 PM onward.
- January 23, 2025:
- C-Hexagon-India Gate was closed from 9:15 AM until the parade passed Tilak Marg.
- Tilak Marg, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, and Netaji Subhas Marg were off-limits to traffic from 10:30 AM onward.
Alternative Routes for Commuters:
- North-South Travel: Use the Ring Road via Ashram Chowk, Sarai Kale Khan, and IP Flyover to Rajghat.
- East-West Travel: Opt for DND-NH24-Vikas Marg or Boulevard Road-Barf Khana.
For hassle-free commuting, Delhi Metro services remained operational at all stations, offering an efficient alternative to road travel.
