Lucknow: Newly appointed Uttar Pradesh Congress in-charge Rajendra Pal Gautam on Wednesday said the party is committed to strengthening its grassroots organisation and working towards victory in the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.
Addressing party workers during his first visit to the state after taking charge, Gautam said the Congress would unite its cadre, strengthen every booth and promote dedicated workers to rebuild the party’s presence across Uttar Pradesh.
“We will win Uttar Pradesh in 2027 and make Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister in 2029,” Gautam said while speaking at the Uttar Pradesh Congress headquarters in Lucknow, where he was welcomed by state Congress president Ajay Rai and party workers.
He urged party members to work collectively to strengthen the organisation ahead of the upcoming elections.
