New Delhi: The Congress on Monday criticised the Central government over reports of a suspected question paper leak in a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) examination at Gujarat Ayurved University, alleging that the incident reflects a continuing pattern of examination irregularities.
Congress general secretary in charge of communications Jairam Ramesh took to X to share a media report on the alleged leak and remarked, “Another day, another paper leak.”
According to media reports, Gujarat Ayurved University in Jamnagar has come under scrutiny after allegations surfaced that key details of the Shalya Tantra-I examination for BAMS students were circulated on WhatsApp before the test.
The Congress claimed that the government’s proposal to establish fast-track courts for paper leak cases would not address the root causes of the recurring problem, arguing that systemic reforms are needed instead.
The alleged incident has triggered concern over the integrity of the examination process. Authorities are expected to examine the allegations and take appropriate action if any irregularities are confirmed.
