ABVP to Submit Recommendations on Exam Reforms to Centre’s High-Powered Committee

Kochi: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Monday announced that it will submit a comprehensive set of recommendations to the Centre’s High-Powered Committee on examination reforms, constituted in the wake of the NEET paper leak controversy.

The announcement was made by ABVP leaders during a press conference in Kochi following the organisation’s two-day Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting, held in Aluva on August 1 and 2.

ABVP said the proposed recommendations aim to strengthen the examination system and restore students’ confidence in the fairness and transparency of competitive examinations.

The student organisation also expressed concern over repeated question paper leaks in examinations conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC), Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC), Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC), as well as recruitment examinations in Punjab.

According to ABVP, such recurring incidents have seriously undermined the credibility of the examination process and shaken the trust of students and job aspirants. The organisation urged the Centre to implement stronger safeguards and reforms to ensure secure, transparent and accountable examination procedures across the country.
