Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday launched a massive ₹40,000-crore development drive in Bihar by laying the foundation stone and inaugurating key projects spanning infrastructure, energy, agriculture, and connectivity.
Addressing a packed gathering, PM Modi said the initiatives will not only transform Bihar’s growth landscape but also generate jobs and strengthen rural livelihoods. He underlined Bihar’s crucial role in India’s eastern development vision and reaffirmed his government’s commitment to balanced regional progress.
The mega package includes new road and rail projects, power and irrigation schemes, and rural upliftment initiatives, marking one of the state’s largest-ever investment pushes. Union ministers, state leaders, and senior officials were present at the landmark event.
