New Delhi: IndiGo will launch daily direct flights between Mumbai and Dar es Salaam in Tanzania from November 20, further expanding its international connectivity to Africa, the airline said on Thursday.
The new service will provide passengers with a direct connection between India and Tanzania and strengthen IndiGo’s presence in the African market.
At present, IndiGo operates direct flights from India to several African destinations, including Nairobi in Kenya, Mauritius and Seychelles.
With the addition of Dar es Salaam, IndiGo will further expand its international network, which currently covers more than 45 international cities and over 95 destinations across India.
The daily Mumbai–Dar es Salaam service will commence on November 20, the airline said in a release.
