Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to kick off a whirlwind three-day tour tomorrow, launching and inaugurating projects worth a staggering ₹71,850 crore across Mizoram, Manipur, Assam, West Bengal, and Bihar. The visit will wrap up on September 15.
The journey begins in Mizoram, where Modi will roll out development works worth ₹9,000 crore. In Manipur, modi will announce projects worth ₹8,500 crore, including major initiatives in Churachandpur (₹7,300 crore) and Imphal (₹1,200 crore), besides meeting victims of recent violence.
On September 13, the PM will join Dr. Bhupen Hazarika’s centenary celebrations in Guwahati before unveiling projects worth ₹18,530 crore in Assam.
The final day will see Modi in Kolkata for the 16th Joint Commanders’ Conference, followed by Purnea, Bihar, where modi will inaugurate the new airport terminal and announce projects worth ₹36,000 crore, rounding off the mega development push with a public address.
