Bengaluru: The South Western Railway (SWR) has announced a route and terminal change for Train No. 16512 Kannur – KSR Bengaluru Express, impacting passengers traveling from Kerala to Bengaluru. Under the new arrangement, the train will be diverted via Yasvantpur Junction, Hebbal, and Banaswadi before terminating at Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal (SMVT) Bengaluru, replacing its previous endpoint at KSR Bengaluru.
SWR says the move is aimed at reducing congestion and optimizing terminal operations in the city. Passengers are urged to note the changes and plan their connections accordingly to avoid last-minute inconvenience.
