Thiruvananthapuram: CPI(M) leader and Central Committee member E P jayarajan has described certain portions of his autobiography titled ‘Kattan Chayayum Parippu Vadayum (Black tea and Dal Vadai) came out on the day of byelection as the result of a well-knit conspiracy. Jayarajan has not entrusted with any one to publish his autobiography, he told newsmen atv Palakad on Nov 14. But the CPI(M) leader has not disclosed the names of the conspirators. It is, therefore, very difficult to believe the conspiracy theory, the political observers here said.
Mr Jayarajan’s meeting with BJP spokesperson Prakash Javedkar had also appeared in the media on the day of Lok Sabha election in April last. The portions of the autobiography also appeared on Nov 13, the day of byelections to Chelakkara assembly and Wayanad Lok Sabha . It was a clear case of conspiracy, Jayarajan held.
According to political observers , the appearance of the portions of the autobiography was meant to tarnish the image of CPI(M) and damage it to the maximum and thus to get Jayarajan ousted from the party rendering him a halo of hero.
According to media reports, Javedkar had offered Jayarajn a safe shelter in BJP and its doors are open to Jayarajan in case CPI(M) ousted him.
Realizing the plan of Jayarajan, CPI(M) was not willing to oust him from the party and make him a hero and pave his way to BJP, the political observers said.
DC Books are not the green horn in the publishing sector and would not shoulder unnecessary risk of litigation by publishing the portions of any books without the will and consent of the author in writing.
The political observers here attributed the controversy over autobiography for speeding up Jayarajan’s entry to BJP.
The legal notice to D C books reportedly sent by Jayarajan I only an alibi as also Jayarajan’s complaint in this regard to the Director General of Police.
