PM Expresses Grief Over Ahmedabad Tragedy, Assures Swift and Effective Assistance

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic aircraft crash that occurred near Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The incident, which claimed several lives and caused widespread panic, has drawn national attention.

In a statement issued shortly after the tragedy, the Prime Minister conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives. He assured that the central government is closely monitoring the situation and is in constant touch with the Gujarat state authorities.

“The loss of lives in the Ahmedabad tragedy is heart-wrenching. My thoughts are with the bereaved families. We are ensuring all possible assistance to those affected,” the Prime Minister said.

Emergency teams including the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), local police, fire services, and medical personnel were swiftly deployed to the crash site. Initial reports indicate that the aircraft, believed to be a small private or training plane, crashed shortly after takeoff. The cause of the crash is still under investigation by aviation authorities.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel also visited the site and directed officials to ensure that relief operations continue without delay. Hospitals in the area have been placed on high alert, and a helpline has been activated for relatives of victims.

The Prime Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to provide all necessary help to the victims and their families, and said that further updates will be provided as rescue and investigation efforts continue.
