Hyderabad: In an exciting turn of events, Akhil Akkineni, the beloved youngest son of Tollywood superstar Nagarjuna, has officially gotten engaged to Sainab Rauf. The news took fans by surprise when Nagarjuna himself took to social media to share the happy occasion, expressing his joy and welcoming Sainab into their family.
“We are filled with immense happiness as we announce the engagement of our son, Akhil Akkineni, with Sainab Rauf. Sainab, welcome to our family!” wrote Nagarjuna, along with pictures from the engagement ceremony where the couple looked radiant in traditional attire.
Akhil also shared his excitement, saying, “I’ve found my person. My engagement with Sainab Rauf is officially sealed, and I’m thrilled to share this beautiful moment with all of you.”
Akhil, known for his roles in films like Akhil and Mr. Majnu, has been in a relationship with Sainab Rauf, an artist based in Mumbai, for a few years. The couple first met several years ago and has since been inseparable, often sharing glimpses of their love on social media. Despite hailing from a non-film background, Sainab has made a name for herself in the artistic community, and her strong bond with Akhil has been evident as they’ve attended numerous public events and family functions together.
Before Sainab, Akhil was engaged to Shriya Bhupal, the granddaughter of renowned businessman G. V. Krishna Reddy, in 2016. However, the engagement was called off, and Akhil has since found love with Sainab, who has become his perfect match.
