PM Modi Lays Foundation for BPCL’s State of the Art Biogas Plant at Brahmapuram, Kerala

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently inaugurated the groundbreaking ceremony for Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited’s (BPCL) biogas plant at Brahmapuram, Kerala. This advanced facility aims to convert organic municipal waste into compressed biogas (CBG), supporting India’s mission for sustainable energy. The plant is a significant step toward reducing the country’s dependence on fossil fuels and promoting clean energy alternatives.

The biogas plant will process regional waste into biogas, helping improve waste management and significantly lowering carbon emissions.
