Amit Shah Recovers from Food Poisoning, Says Union Minister Pralhad Joshi

Hubballi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah suffered from food poisoning during his visit to Karnataka on Saturday but has since recovered and is “perfectly fine”, Union Minister Pralhad Joshi said.

Shah was in Karnataka to attend two scheduled events, including the inauguration of a new academic building at KLE Jagadguru Gangadhar Mahaswamigalu Moorusavirmath Medical College and the 1,200-bed KLE Hospital and Medical Research Centre at Gabbur in Hubballi.

He did not attend the inauguration programme earlier in the day due to his health condition. However, local leaders said Shah later visited the campus in the evening before leaving for the airport to return to Delhi.

Joshi said Shah’s condition had improved and there was no cause for concern.
