Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE) has launched the ‘Tharapadham’ project across government schools in Kerala as part of a major digital transformation initiative in the public education sector.
KITE, the technical arm of the General Education Department, is implementing the project under the state government’s 100-day action plan aimed at improving the quality of public education.
According to an official statement, the initiative seeks to modernise the digital systems currently used by the General Education Department by integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and bringing various services and systems under a unified digital platform.
The project is expected to strengthen the use of technology in schools and improve the efficiency of digital education services across the state.
