Mild tremor of 3.3 magnitude hits Maharashtra’s Hingoli; no casualties

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: A mild earthquake measuring 3.3 on the Richter scale shook Maharashtra’s Hingoli district on Saturday morning, officials said.

The tremor was recorded at around 7.46 am and was accompanied by a rumbling sound, according to the district disaster management cell.

The epicentre was located at a depth of 7 km in the Gadhala area of Aundha Nagnath tehsil.

The tremor caused brief concern among local residents, but no casualties or damage to property were reported, officials said.
