New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a telephone call from UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who conveyed his warm birthday greetings to the Prime Minister.
During the conversation, the two leaders discussed measures to further strengthen the India-UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. They reviewed cooperation in key areas, including energy, defence, technology, investment and healthcare.
Sheikh Mohamed congratulated Modi on India’s successful BRICS Presidency. Modi expressed appreciation for the participation of UAE Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled in the BRICS Summit and thanked the UAE for its cooperation and partnership in helping achieve substantive outcomes during India’s presidency.
The two leaders also exchanged views on developments in West Asia and reaffirmed their commitment to continued coordination and cooperation aimed at promoting peace, security and stability in the region.
