Thrissur: The Ward six Beautification Project of Mulankunnathukavu Grama Panchayat, being implemented in association with Poomala Jungle Resort, was launched on World Environment Day.
Grama Panchayat President Adv. Sindhu Ajayakumar inaugurated the project by handing over a flowering plant sapling to project convener Jacob Vallithottathil.
The inaugural meeting was presided over by Ward Member and Project Chairman Ciby Thomas. Block Panchayat Member Adv. Biju Varghese delivered the keynote address.
Grama Panchayat Vice-President Sony Sunny, Health and Education Standing Committee Chairperson Jessy Sajan, Ward 5 Member Prema Francis, Ward 3 Member E.T. Biju, Panchayat Secretary Manoj, Fr. Philip Irattamakal, Fr. Lijin Kuryakose, Federal Bank Wadakkanchery Branch Manager Haridas, Indian Vartha Channel Chief Editor Anand, and Poomala Jungle Resort Managing Director Ranji John extended their felicitations.
Project Executive Member C.P. George delivered the vote of thanks.
Joint Conveners Uthaman Naduvilpurakkal, John Kurian Idinjukuzhiyil, and Kurian Avalumthadam will lead the subsequent activities under the beautification initiative.
