Union Education Minister Pralhad Joshi on Friday urged BRICS nations to strengthen collaboration in tackling global education challenges, stressing that issues such as resilience, innovation and sustainability require collective action rather than isolated efforts.
Addressing the 13th BRICS Education Ministers’ Meeting in Bhubaneswar, Joshi said India’s BRICS Chairship is guided by the principles of resilience, innovation, cooperation and sustainability, which are especially significant for the education sector.
He emphasized that education systems across the world face common challenges and that closer cooperation among BRICS countries is essential to develop innovative solutions, share best practices and build stronger, future-ready learning ecosystems.
Joshi reiterated India’s commitment to promoting collaboration in education through knowledge exchange, technological innovation and sustainable development, underscoring the country’s vision of fostering inclusive and high-quality education for all.
