Rajeev Chandrasekhar Takes Charge as Kerala BJP President, Cites Inspiration from Social Reformers

Thiruvananthapuram: Rajeev Chandrasekhar has officially taken over as the Kerala BJP president, with the formal announcement made during the party’s state council meeting on Monday. The former Union Minister invoked the legacy of 20th-century social reformers, emphasizing their role in shaping Kerala’s political and social landscape.

Chandrasekhar succeeds K. Surendran and is expected to bring significant changes to the party’s state leadership. BJP leaders and central ministers, including Suresh Gopi and George Kurian, were present at the event, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the party in Kerala.
