New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday congratulated Andy Burnham on assuming office as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, expressing confidence that bilateral ties between the two countries will continue to strengthen.
In a message shared on X, Modi said India and the UK are united by shared democratic values and maintain extensive cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, technology, defence, and people-to-people exchanges.
