New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday congratulated the Indian team for its outstanding performance at the 37th International Biology Olympiad (IBO) held in Vilnius, Lithuania, where all four team members won medals, including one gold.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister said it was a matter of immense pride that every member of the Indian contingent returned with a medal, highlighting the country’s growing excellence in the biological sciences.
Modi congratulated Bhavyaa Gunwal, Soumil Maity, Nishit Kalani, and Anmol Kumar for their achievement, praising their exceptional knowledge in subjects such as Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Animal Physiology, Animal Morphology, Systematics, and Plant Computational Biology.
He expressed confidence that the team’s success would inspire many more young students across the country to pursue excellence in science and represent India on the global stage.
The Indian team’s medal-winning performance at the prestigious international competition marks another significant achievement for the country’s young scientific talent.
