Amit Shah Reviews Central Schemes, Development Projects in Gandhinagar

Gandhinagar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday reviewed the implementation of key Central government schemes and ongoing development projects in Gujarat’s Gandhinagar district. He also directed officials to prepare a contingency plan to address possible challenges arising from the delay in monsoon rains.

Representing the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency, Shah chaired a meeting of the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA). During the meeting, he instructed officials to conduct a survey to identify farmers eligible to receive livestock under government welfare schemes.

Shah also emphasized the need to establish cluster schools to reduce dropout rates among girl students and ensure better access to education. Officials reviewed the progress of various welfare and infrastructure projects during the meeting.
