New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives in the industrial accident that occurred in Tamil Nadu’s Tiruvallur district.
In a message posted by the Prime Minister’s Office on social media platform X, Modi conveyed his condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the tragedy and prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured.
“Deeply pained to hear about the loss of lives due to a mishap in Tiruvallur district of Tamil Nadu. My condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. Praying for the speedy recovery of the injured,” the Prime Minister said.
The statement came after an ammonia gas leak at a private fish processing unit in Tiruvallur district claimed seven lives and left several others injured. Authorities are continuing rescue, relief, and investigation efforts at the site.
