Three IAF Personnel’s Mortal Remains Sent Home After An-32 Crash

The mortal remains of three Indian Air Force (IAF) personnel who lost their lives in the An-32 aircraft crash in Assam were sent to their native places on Sunday. The deceased were accorded full military honours before the final send-off, defence officials said.

Five IAF personnel, including two Agniveers, were killed when the Russian-made Antonov An-32 transport aircraft crashed while attempting to land at Jorhat during a routine sortie on Saturday. The Indian Air Force is investigating the cause of the accident.
