NEW DELHI: Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav on Saturday interacted with start-ups and technology firms to explore practical and affordable solutions to air pollution in Delhi-NCR.
The meeting, held under the campaign ‘Saaf Hawa mein Hissedaari, Hum Sabhi ki hai Zimmedaari’, focused on developing scalable, technology-driven solutions across nine key areas of air pollution management.
Yadav discussed how innovative technologies could be adapted and deployed on the ground to reduce pollution at its source. He said these efforts would complement existing measures, including the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP), promotion of cleaner fuels and electric mobility, and strengthening of air-quality monitoring.
Union Minister of State Kirti Vardhan Singh and Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa, along with senior officials from central and Delhi government agencies, attended the meeting.
