Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday highlighted the achievements of the past 12 years, stating that the welfare of the poor and underprivileged has remained at the core of the government’s development agenda.
He said initiatives such as Jan Dhan accounts, Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), Swachh Bharat Mission, PM Awas Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission and Ayushman Bharat have focused on ensuring dignity and opportunities for all. Modi also noted that technology has improved transparency, reduced leakages and enabled benefits to reach people directly, strengthening the journey towards a developed India (Viksit Bharat).
