Gold prices in Kerala witnessed a decline on Monday, with the rate of 22-carat gold (916 hallmark) dropping by ₹95 per gram.
According to the latest market rates, one gram of 22-carat gold is priced at ₹13,905, while eight grams (one sovereign) cost ₹1,11,240.
The price of 18-carat gold stands at ₹11,485 per gram and ₹91,880 for eight grams.
Silver prices remain steady at ₹260 per gram, with eight grams priced at ₹2,080.
Jewellery traders said fluctuations in international bullion markets and currency movements continue to influence domestic gold prices. Consumers and investors are closely monitoring market trends ahead of the upcoming wedding and festive seasons.
