PM Modi Distributes Over 51,000 Appointment Letters Under Rozgar Mela

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday distributed more than 51,000 appointment letters to newly recruited candidates under the Rozgar Mela programme and said India’s youth will play a key role in building a developed nation by 2047.

Addressing the recruits, Modi said the world was showing growing confidence in India’s youth and technological progress. Referring to his recent five-nation visit covering the UAE, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway and Italy, he said India signed agreements in sectors such as semiconductors, artificial intelligence, green energy, shipbuilding, defence and advanced manufacturing, which would create major employment opportunities for young people.

The prime minister highlighted India’s rapid growth in electronics manufacturing, semiconductor production, infrastructure and startup ecosystems. He said government investments in railways, highways, ports, aviation, clean energy and digital infrastructure were generating large-scale jobs across the country.

Modi also stressed the importance of skill development, entrepreneurship and innovation, noting that India now has more than 2.3 lakh recognised startups. He urged newly appointed government employees to work with dedication and sensitivity, saying public service is a responsibility towards citizens and nation-building.
