Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday held separate bilateral meetings with the leaders of Iceland, Finland and Denmark ahead of the 3rd India-Nordic Summit in Oslo.
During the meetings, Modi discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in areas including clean energy, sustainability, trade, innovation and digitalisation.
The Prime Minister held talks with Iceland Prime Minister Kristrún Frostadóttir, Finland Prime Minister Petteri Orpo and Denmark’s Acting Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen.
The leaders reviewed the overall progress of bilateral relations and explored opportunities to deepen partnerships in emerging sectors and sustainable development initiatives.
The meetings took place ahead of the India-Nordic Summit, which is expected to focus on expanding cooperation between India and Nordic nations across strategic and economic sectors.
