Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday said Nashik is set to become a major growth engine, with projects worth ₹33,000 crore underway ahead of the Simhastha Kumbh Mela.
He said the large-scale infrastructure push will support the mega religious event scheduled between October 31, 2026, and July 24, 2028, while also boosting long-term economic and industrial development in the region.
Fadnavis added that enhanced capacity, improved facilities, and fresh investments are expected to generate employment and accelerate growth in Nashik.
