24 Feared Dead in Pakistan Train Blast; BLA Claims Responsibility

At least 24 people are feared dead and several others injured after a powerful explosion struck a shuttle train in Balochistan on Sunday, officials said.

The blast occurred near Chaman Phatak in Quetta while the train was travelling from Quetta Cantonment to the city railway station.

The banned militant outfit Baloch Liberation Army claimed responsibility for the attack.

Security forces and rescue teams rushed to the spot, and the injured were shifted to nearby hospitals. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
