AMARAVATI: Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan will visit Musunuru in Andhra Pradesh’s Eluru district on August 24, officials said.
During his visit, the Vice President will attend a programme at the Gourmet Popcornica Factory in Musunuru, where he will launch India’s first non-GMO high-expansion popcorn maize hybrid seed.
Radhakrishnan will also felicitate farmers and address agricultural stakeholders and other participants at the event.
The programme is expected to highlight developments in agricultural technology and the introduction of improved seed varieties aimed at supporting farmers and enhancing productivity.
