New Delhi: Vice-President of India C. P. Radhakrishnan will undertake a two-day visit to Uttarakhand on August 19 and 20, 2026, during which he will attend programmes at prominent civil services and forest service training academies.
On August 19, the Vice-President will visit the Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy (IGNFA) in Dehradun. He will address and interact with probationers of the Indian Forest Service (IFS) 2025–27 batch during the visit.
On August 20, Radhakrishnan will travel to Mussoorie to attend the valedictory ceremony of Phase-II of the IAS Professional Course for the 2024 batch at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA). He will be the chief guest at the ceremony.
During his visit to LBSNAA, the Vice-President will also pay floral tributes to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri.
The two-day visit will include engagements with officers undergoing professional training and programmes highlighting the contributions of some of India’s key national leaders.
