Repolling to Be Held in Two West Bengal Constituencies Tomorrow

Repolling will be conducted in two constituencies of West Bengal on Saturday following irregularities reported during the Assembly elections.

The Election Commission has ordered fresh polling in 11 booths in Magrahat Paschim and four booths in Diamond Harbour.

Polling in these constituencies was originally held on April 29 but was later cancelled the same day after reports of malpractice. Returning officers and observers had flagged the irregularities, following which the Commission approved the repoll.

The fresh polling will take place from 7 am to 6 pm on Saturday, officials said.
