New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on friday paid tribute to the victims of the September 11, 2001, terror attacks in the US on the 25th anniversary and expressed solidarity with the families affected by the tragedy.
Modi said terrorism has claimed countless lives worldwide and noted that India, as a victim of cross-border terrorism, has been at the forefront of the fight against the menace for decades.
He said India’s resolve to oppose terrorism in all its forms remains unwavering despite the evolving nature of the threat.
Modi also shared glimpses of his visit to the 9/11 Memorial & Museum in New York in 2014.
