New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on today interacted with CEOs and founders of 20 Indian space startups at Seva Teerth, highlighting the rapid growth of the country’s private space sector.
The startups are working across areas including rockets, reusable launch vehicles, satellites, advanced propulsion, space intelligence, space debris removal and AI-based weather technology.
Modi congratulated the entrepreneurs for driving innovation and urged them to explore new applications of space technologies to improve people’s lives. He also called for greater collaboration between space companies and sectors such as agriculture and environment.
The Prime Minister said India has a major opportunity to strengthen its position in the global space industry and called for an ecosystem that attracts global talent, companies and investment to the country.
