PM Modi Inaugurates Development Projects Worth ₹2,580 Crore in Silvassa

Silvassa: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and launched various development projects worth over ₹2,580 crore in Silvassa, located in the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.

Addressing the gathering, PM Modi highlighted the region’s rapid progress, stating that Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu have achieved saturation in several welfare schemes, making them a model for development. He emphasized the region’s rich heritage and contribution to India’s growth.

Speaking about healthcare, the Prime Minister underlined the importance of Jan Aushadhi Yojana, which provides affordable medicines to the public. He described Jan Aushadhi as a guarantee of lower prices and effective medicines, ensuring quality healthcare for all.

In a message promoting health and wellness, PM Modi urged citizens to reduce their cooking oil consumption by 10% every month as a step towards fighting obesity and improving overall health.

These newly launched infrastructure, healthcare, and welfare projects are expected to boost economic development, improve public amenities, and enhance the quality of life in the Union Territory.
