Kottayam: The Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) has announced plans to build a cricket stadium in Kottayam, further expanding its infrastructure for the sport in the state. As per an official release, CMS College will provide its existing grounds to KCA for 30 years under a long-term agreement.
This initiative follows similar projects undertaken by KCA at St. Xavier’s College, Thumba, and SD College, Alappuzha, aimed at boosting cricket development in Kerala. The new facility in Kottayam is expected to enhance training opportunities for budding cricketers and host local and domestic tournaments.
KCA officials emphasized that the project aligns with their mission to improve cricketing infrastructure across Kerala, providing world-class facilities for players and fans alike.
