PM Modi Inaugurates and Lays Foundation Stones for Key Development Projects in Delhi, Focusing on Housing, Education, and Urban Growth

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for multiple transformative projects in Delhi, highlighting the government’s vision for urban redevelopment, housing, and educational infrastructure.

Key Inaugurations:

Swabhiman Apartments, Ashok Vihar: 1,675 flats for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) were inaugurated under the In-Situ Slum Rehabilitation Project by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA). This initiative aims to ensure affordable housing for marginalized communities under the ‘Housing for All’ program.
World Trade Centre, Nauroji Nagar: A modern urban redevelopment project designed to boost trade and commerce in the national capital.
GPRA Type-II Quarters, Sarojini Nagar: New government residential accommodations built to enhance living standards for government employees.
CBSE Integrated Office Complex, Dwarka: A ₹300 crore state-of-the-art facility equipped with modern offices, an auditorium, an advanced data center, and eco-friendly features aligned with IGBC Platinum Rating standards.

Foundation Stone Laid for Education Projects:

Delhi University Projects: Foundation stones were laid for three major projects worth ₹600 crore, including academic blocks in Surajmal Vihar and Dwarka campuses, and the establishment of Veer Savarkar College at Roshanpura, Najafgarh.

These projects underscore the government’s dedication to enhancing urban infrastructure, expanding education facilities, and improving quality of life in Delhi. Prime Minister Modi’s initiatives aim to transform Delhi into a smarter, greener, and more inclusive capital city.
