New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the closing ceremony of Odisha Parba 2024, held on November 24 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. The three-day festival, organized by the Odia Samaj, celebrated Odisha’s vibrant cultural heritage, showcasing its classical dance, traditional music, art, and authentic cuisine.
The event featured mesmerizing Odissi and folk dance performances, soulful music by renowned Odia artists, and an array of traditional delicacies like dahibara-aloodum and pithas. Visitors also explored Odisha’s renowned handloom and handicraft stalls, adding a touch of artistry to the celebration.
Unique highlights included a children’s play titled Biplabi Bajia and literary activities, emphasizing Odisha’s contributions to India’s cultural and intellectual landscape.
