New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Indian athletes and teams for their medal-winning performances at the Asian Games.
Modi congratulated Prachi Choudhary on winning the bronze medal in the women’s 400m event. He said her impressive performance had secured India a memorable place on the podium and wished her success in her future endeavours.
The Prime Minister also congratulated Tajinderpal Singh for winning the silver medal in the men’s shot put. He praised the athlete’s focus and perseverance, noting that another Asian Games medal was a fitting addition to his distinguished career.
In table tennis, Modi congratulated Manush Shah and Diya Chitale on securing the bronze medal in the mixed doubles event. He said their achievement added another proud moment to the growing popularity of table tennis in India and expressed hope that their determination would inspire young players.
