During the event, PM Modi launched ‘Mission Mausam’, an ambitious initiative designed to bolster India’s climate resilience and preparedness.

He underscored the importance of developing earthquake warning systems as part of improving disaster preparedness.
Further, PM Modi applauded the IMD’s efforts to inspire the next generation of meteorologists, especially through initiatives like the National Meteorological Olympiad, which saw overwhelming participation from students across the country.
