PM Modi Begins Three-Nation Tour with Jordan, Set for High-Level Meetings with King Abdullah II

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday embarked on a three-nation diplomatic tour, beginning with a key visit to Jordan, aimed at deepening India’s engagement in the West Asian region.

During the Jordan leg of the tour, Mr. Modi will hold extensive talks with King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein, focusing on strengthening bilateral ties and exchanging views on regional and global developments. He is also scheduled to meet Prime Minister Jafar Hassan to review cooperation across trade, defence, education, and cultural exchanges.

The Prime Minister will additionally hold discussions with Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah, underlining the importance both nations place on long-term strategic partnership and youth-driven collaboration.

India and Jordan share close and friendly relations, with growing cooperation in political dialogue, defence, and people-to-people contacts. Mr. Modi’s visit is expected to give fresh momentum to bilateral ties and reinforce India’s diplomatic presence in the region, setting the tone for the remaining legs of his three-nation tour.
