New Delhi – Prime Minister Narendra Modi has lauded the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, calling it India’s intellectual renaissance, designed to foster self-reliance and global competitiveness through education and innovation.
Speaking at a national education summit, the PM emphasized that NEP 2020 transforms the education system by promoting multidisciplinary learning, skill development, and research-driven growth. He highlighted how the policy empowers students with modern knowledge while staying rooted in India’s rich heritage.
The NEP introduces flexibility in learning, emphasizes regional languages, and integrates technology with education to prepare students for a rapidly evolving global landscape. It also focuses on entrepreneurship, vocational training, and research opportunities, positioning India as a leader in knowledge and innovation.
With its holistic approach, PM Modi stated that NEP 2020 is a foundation for Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India), ensuring that the country remains at the forefront of intellectual and economic advancements in the 21st century.
