Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to Veer Savarkar on his birth anniversary, praising his courage, patriotism and contribution to social reform.
In a post on X, Modi said Savarkar’s bravery, intellect and nationalist ideals would continue to inspire generations across the country.
The Prime Minister also shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam highlighting the rare combination of wisdom and valour in great personalities.
“Remembering Veer Savarkar on his Jayanti. His courage and patriotism will always inspire people. His intellect and emphasis on social reform are also noteworthy,” Modi said.
